On an initiative to reignite the trail, the team of Ghumante and Mandala IT Solutions had done the Millennium trek in December 2019 and during that visit, the Ghumante team had recorded videos that are now available on Youtube as the Millennium Trek series.

In the third episode of the series, the team explore Bhaisegauda.

After spending three there days, they leave for Pelkachaur and on the way, they visit Chandrakot, a beautiful gurung village and then climb two highest points of Millennium Trek, Koipher Durbar and Pharthum.

They reach Pelkachaur late at night and explore two holy temples, Manakamana and Shiva Mandir both with their own interesting stories.

Before leaving Pelkachaur, they explore the ghost cave and head out for Budhakot. Kegha is their lunch stop for the day and the locals present Ghatu and Sorathi Naach, two unique cultural dances of the Gurung and Magar Community.

Thank-You Note: Nepal Owl Festival 2020

On the behalf of all of the organizers of Nepal Owl Festival 2020, we would like to thank all the co-organizers, supporters and attendees of the Nepal Owl Festival 2020 for your kind efforts in making the event a huge success.

The event, which is one-of-a-kind in Asia was organized at Rangbhang of Syangja district (which is also a part of the Millennium Trekking Route) on the 7th and 8th of February, 2020.

It witnessed the attendance of more than 5 thousand attendees including the local population who were keen to know about and contribute to the conservation of these species of birds.

We firmly believe that events as such will help raise an awareness about such sensitive issues and are glad to have been able to contribute to its success.
